Prairie Boot
The Prairie Boot is handcrafted in Springbok Antelope skin, with a distinctive stripe of white hair down the front of each boot. The availability of the skins was due to the Government-regulated bi-annual Springbok population-management culls, which are carried out to avoid the issues arising from over-population such as disease and starvation. Springbok meat is standard fare in South Africa.
Recycled Sheepskin Boot
Inspiration for this style came during a visit to a factory in Skopje, Macedonia where car seat covers were being made with repurposed production waste material. This design was made using discarded sheepskin offcuts from sheepskin slipper production. The pieces were sorted by size and sewn into larger plates, with the seams on the outside of the boot providing an interesting patchwork texture. Production was challenging due to the potential frailty of so many seams.
Goatskin Cowboy
This design is crafted in goatskins - all natural by-products of the dairy industry in Macedonia. The skins used for this style are often very shaggy and available in colours ranging from blonde to dark brown.
Eskimo Boot
The Mou Eskimo Boot is Mou's best-selling and most iconic design. It was inspired by crocheted baby shoes and first became very popular in Japan, when A-list model-celebrity Rinka featured them in her blog. By mid '08 the neutrals colour range expanded to include flower patterns, bronze and charcoal metallic leather finishes and pop colours such as fuschia pink, yellow, acid green and blue. This design concept is foundational for the mou collection and marked the evolution of the mou design language, inspiring many derivative designs which utilise the crochet stitching concept, nuanced wool colour combinations and metallic leather finishes.
Norfolk Boot
The Norfolk Boot is a variation on a traditional classic sheepskin boot with hand-craft crochet stitching in wool colours embellishing the seams.
Tall Eskimo Boot
The design of the Tall Eskimo Boot arose as a natural addition to the Eskimo which suited the look of skinny jeans or leggings paired with tall boots. Offered in a range of beautiful colours and finishes this style is an ultimate Mou Icon and is as wearable and desireable today as it ever was. Dress it up or down, this style looks equally chic at the school gates, or as a flattering footwear style to wear out in the evening.
Anchorage Boot
The design of the wool braid trim on this boot style illustrates a continuation of Shelley's fascination with wool crochet and knitting embellishments on footwear. The trim is inspired by a vintage kimono-shaped wool dress found at a Parisian flea-market in 2009. The boots are crafted in genuine double-face sheepskin with a durable outdoor sole.

Crafted in genuine double-face sheepskin with a knitted wool upper, the design pattern of the upper of this boot was inspired by the double helix of DNA.

This style was designed and sampled in the year of Harris Tweed's Centenary Celebrations. Offered in three shades of Black, Charcoal and Green with sheepskin lining, it was a dog-walker's dream boot.
